Hula Group is led by husband-and-wife team Steff and Peter Borgen-Nielsen, who work together to build and grow the business with a shared hands-on approach.
Together, they have developed a collection of restaurants shaped by a love of hospitality, a strong sense of identity and a belief that successful spaces should combine commercial strength with genuine warmth. Their complementary strengths bring balance to the business, combining day-to-day operational experience with long-term vision, creativity and growth.
At the centre of Hula Group is a family-run ethos: ambitious, personal and grounded in the idea that hospitality should feel generous, consistent and full of life.
steph
Steff is the co-founder of Hula Group and is deeply involved in the vision, growth and day-to-day life of the business. Passionate about hospitality, branding and creating spaces with real character, she has helped build a group of restaurants that combine strong identity with a warm and welcoming feel. Her focus is always on quality, experience and building something lasting.
peter
Peter is the co-founder of Hula Group and works alongside Steff in developing and supporting the business. With a grounded, hands-on approach, he brings practical insight and commercial strength to the group’s operations and growth. Together, they have built Hula Group around a shared commitment to good food, genuine hospitality and creating restaurants people want to come back to.
